Main Agenda: Addressing the rights of stateless individuals, with special focus on integration into society .
Worldwide, stateless individuals still struggle with ethnic cleansing, displacement, xenophobia, endless bigotry against them, and overall lack of recognition. They are marginalised, losing their identities, families, homes and their ‘Right to Life’. They have difficulty accessing nutritious food, housing, education and the basic freedom of movement. The governments of the countries have the authority to provide citizenship and grant the status of nationals. Hence, as the delegates of Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee, it remains in your hands to frame legal policies and reforms to safeguard stateless individuals and their rights across the world.
Reserved Agenda: Safeguarding the rights and interests of Tribal/indigenous populations across the world.
