Main Agenda: Reviewing international standards of privacy, with respect to private citizens and witness protection .
The media is entitled to its freedom in a lot of places, but it often misuses this freedom, leading to damage to people’s lives and reputations. Citizens and media must be aware of the various rights and laws regarding the protection of private citizens, witnesses and overall standards of privacy. It is the responsibility of the members of the International Press to uphold their duty with dignity as well as respect the privacy of the people.
